How do I see my IKEA (or any planner) kitchen design in my own kitchen?

Export or screenshot the design render from the planner, add it to a chat together with a photo of your kitchen, name the design’s parts, say it follows the same walls and keep the room. The recording does this in 71 seconds on a photo of the old kitchen and again on the empty shell.

Does it work from a 2D floor plan?

No. The input is the rendered design, not a plan. A plan alone does not carry the doors, colours and heights the render needs, and a kitchen built from a plan by guesswork is not something we would show you. Every planner app exports a rendered view; use that.

Which room photo should I use, the old kitchen or the stripped room?

Either, and the recording shows both. The old kitchen photo gives the most faithful room (light, window, floor); the shell needs you to say where the plumbing is so the sink lands in the right place.

Will the design match the planner exactly?

The render keeps the parts you name: fronts, colour, counter, shelves, handles, appliances, the tall unit. Naming them in the prompt is what stops the render from inventing its own. Exact cabinet counts and dimensions are the planner’s job; this is the view of the room.

How much does it cost?

Can I change the colour or the counter after placing it?
