AI rendering software

AI rendering.From a model, a sketch or a photo.

AI rendering turns a 3D model screenshot, a sketch or a photo into a photoreal image in under a minute. You say what to change in plain words; the design and the camera stay yours.

What is AI rendering?

AI rendering is image generation that starts from your design instead of from a blank page. You upload a model view, a sketch or a photo, say what the materials, light and mood should be, and an image model paints a photoreal version that keeps your geometry and camera. Nothing is modeled, textured or lit by hand, so the first image arrives in under a minute.

In Visualizee you tell Vizzy, the built-in assistant, what you want in your own words. It picks the model, writes the instruction and asks when something is unclear. The result is a still image you can change one thing at a time: a cladding, a season, a sofa.

Three inputs

What can you render from?

A model screenshot, a hand sketch or a photo. Below is one real render from each, the sentence that made it, and how long it took. Same day, one run each, no retries.

From a 3D model screenshot

Take a screenshot of the viewport in SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD or Rhino, untextured is fine. Every window, the door, the overhang and the carport stayed where the model put them.

Turn this model screenshot into a photoreal exterior render on a clear late afternoon. Keep exactly the camera angle, the house shape, every window and the front door, the cantilevered upper floor, the carport and the path. Real materials: white smooth render below, vertical larch boards above, dark gray window frames. Don’t add or remove any window, door, column or floor.

From a hand sketch

A phone photo of a pen sketch is enough. The roof pitch, the glazed gable with its mullions, the deck and the chimney came through from the drawing.

From a photo

A photo of a real room, a site or a facade. The walls, both windows, the radiator, the doorway and the floor are the photo’s; only the furniture is new.

Message to Vizzy

Furnish this empty room as a calm Scandinavian living room: a light gray three-seat sofa facing the windows, a round oak coffee table, a wool rug, a lounge chair, a floor lamp, a low sideboard, a large plant and two framed prints. Keep exactly the camera, the walls, both windows, the radiator, the doorway, the oak floor and the ceiling light.

One measured render

How fast is it, and what does it cost?

The house above, from the SketchUp-style screenshot to the finished render, took 25 seconds and 150 credits on the Pro preset. On the Pro plan that is about 27 cents.

AI vs engine rendering

How is it different from Enscape, Lumion, D5 or V-Ray?

Engines calculate light from a finished, materialized model, so they are exact and can walk through the whole building. AI rendering paints a believable image of one view from whatever you have now, so it is fast and needs no setup. They do different jobs.

  • Use an engine when

The model is finished and materialized, you need the same building from twenty views, an animation or a VR walkthrough, or the light has to be physically right for a daylight study.

  • Use AI rendering when

You have a sketch, a massing or an untextured view and a client who needs to react this week, you want five facade or staging options to compare, or nobody on the team has a GPU workstation.

Cost per render

What does an AI render cost?

About 27 cents for a Pro render on the Pro plan, 15 cents for a Fast draft and 55 cents for Ultra. These are exact credit prices, not plan prices divided by a rounded render count.

Visualizee price per render by plan and quality
PlanFast (about 30 s)Pro (under a minute)Ultra (about 2 min)
Pro, $35 a month$0.15$0.27$0.55
Max, $80 a month$0.13$0.25$0.50

Free: 5 renders, or 4 if you use your one Pro render, watermarked, no card. Hobby is $15 a month. What studios charge per image, and the cost per approved image, is in 3D architectural rendering cost.

Where it fails

What can AI rendering not do?

It paints a believable image; it does not measure, spell or count reliably. Plan for these four limits and check every render against your drawings.

  • Exact dimensions

A render is a picture, not a drawing. It keeps proportions from your view, but nobody can measure a door width off it. Sizes, structure and compliance come from your model and your drawings.

  • Small text

Signage, plaques and lettering come out garbled or invented, and models sometimes print text nobody asked for, such as a magazine title on a book. Add real text afterwards in your layout tool.

  • Unusual counts

Ask for a door with five glass panels or a window with four panes and you often get the usual pattern back. In our window and door test, 9 of 13 edits slipped, most of them on counts.

  • Camera and fixtures on cheap models

Cheaper models can move the camera a little or repaint a frame you asked to keep. Name every element that must stay, and lay the render over the input before it goes to a client.

The count test is in window, door and garage door visualizer; the model-by-model slips are in the AI model benchmark.

All questions
What is AI rendering?
AI rendering turns a 3D model screenshot, a sketch or a photo into a photoreal image in under a minute. You describe the materials, light and mood in plain words and an image model draws the result, keeping the geometry and camera of your input. There are no materials, lights or render settings to set up and no GPU needed.
Does AI rendering replace Enscape, Lumion or V-Ray?
No, it replaces a different step. Enscape, Lumion, D5 and V-Ray calculate light from a finished, materialized model, so they win on accuracy, animation and walkthroughs. AI rendering wins earlier: options on a sketch or an untextured model view, in seconds, for a client who needs to react before the model is done. Many studios use both.
How much does AI rendering cost per image?
In Visualizee a Pro render costs about $0.27 on the Pro plan ($35 a month), a Fast draft about $0.15 and an Ultra render about $0.55. On Max a Fast render is about $0.13. You start with 5 free renders, or 4 if you use your one Pro render, with no credit card.
How long does an AI render take?
Our three Pro renders on this page took 25, 30 and 36 seconds. Fast drafts take about 30 seconds and Ultra renders, the most detailed, about 2 minutes. An engine render of the same view needs the model materialized and lit first, which is the slow part.
What can I upload?
A screenshot of a model from SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino or any other program, a hand sketch photographed with your phone, or a photo of a room, site or facade. Untextured model views work. There is no plugin and no file export.
What can AI rendering not do?
Exact dimensions, small readable text and unusual counts, such as a door with five glass panels. It is also a still picture of one view: for a walkthrough of the whole building, a real-time engine is the better tool. Check each render against your drawings before it goes to a client.
