Prices checked on October 26, 2026, on each vendor's own pricing page. We ran only our own tool; the other nine are compared on what their sites state.
The best AI rendering tool depends on where you draw and how many images you need. If you live in Revit or SketchUp, Veras and mnml.ai work inside them. If you want one flat price and render all day, MyArchitectAI, Gendo Studio and ArchiVinci sell unlimited renders. If price per image matters most, Rendair Pro works out to about 3 cents. If you need to change one thing at a time on a model view, a sketch or a photo and keep everything else, that is what Visualizee (our tool) is built for, at about $0.27 a Pro render. New to the idea? AI rendering, explained covers how it differs from Enscape, Lumion, D5 and V-Ray.
Quick answer: Plugins inside Revit/SketchUp/Rhino: Veras, mnml.ai. Unlimited flat price: MyArchitectAI ($29 a month), Gendo (free tier, Studio £79), ArchiVinci ($79 a month). Cheapest per image: Vizcom (about $0.01, product design) and Rendair (about $0.03). Already pay for SketchUp: SketchUp AI Render (credits included). One change at a time with the rest kept, also for interiors, cars and products: Visualizee (our tool), about $0.27 a Pro render.
The 10 AI Rendering Tools Compared
All ten turn a sketch, a model view or a photo into a photoreal image in the browser or a plugin, with no GPU of your own. They differ in what they accept, how they charge and what they are best at. Per-image prices are the plan price divided by the vendor's own stated image count; tools that sell unlimited renders have no per-image price.

What the table can't show: no vendor except us publishes a measured render time, so "Not stated" means exactly that. Per-image prices assume you use every image the plan includes. Visualizee renders use credits by quality (Fast 80, Pro 150, Ultra 300 at 1K), which is why its per-image price is higher than tools priced on cheaper models; the model benchmark shows what the extra buys on six real jobs.
What Each Tool Is Best At
Each tool below gets two or three sentences: who it suits and the catch. All facts are from the vendor's own pages on October 26, 2026.
Visualizee (our tool)
Visualizee is a chat with Vizzy, an assistant that turns what you say into the render instruction and keeps what you didn't ask to change. You upload a screenshot from any program, a sketch or a photo; there is no plugin. It covers architecture, interiors, cars, products and game art, plus video and textured 3D models. The catch: no plugin inside Revit or SketchUp, and its per-image price is higher than flat-rate tools. Sketch to render has the recorded workflow.
Rendair
Rendair has the widest set of drawing-based tools here (floor plan, elevation, section, CAD) and the lowest per-image price among the architecture tools: $49 a month for about 1,500 creations is about $0.03 each, and unused credits roll over while you subscribe. There was no free tier on the pricing page, and its Studio Pro monthly price showed $190 in one view and $200 in another. Our Rendair comparison goes deeper.
MyArchitectAI
MyArchitectAI sells unlimited renders from $29 a month per user, with 4K downloads on Starter and 8K plus 50 animations on Studio. It takes CAD exports, line drawings and sketches but not floor plans. It suits a studio that renders many quick options and wants one predictable bill; 10 free renders let you test first.
mnml.ai
mnml.ai is the plugin pick: free plugins for SketchUp, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper, and 100 free credits that don't expire. A Fast render is 10 credits and an Ultra about 30, so the Lite plan ($29) is about $0.29 per Fast render, falling to about $0.12 on Studio ($119). A one-time $149 pack suits irregular use.
Gendo
Gendo has the most generous free plan here: unlimited generations on one canvas, no card. Studio is £79 a month (pricing is in GBP excluding tax) with unlimited images and parallel rendering; Studio Scale adds five seats and video. It suits teams who want to explore on a shared canvas before paying.
Veras by Chaos
Veras runs inside Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Archicad, Vectorworks, Forma and Allplan, and it now comes with Enscape and V-Ray plans through Chaos AI credits. On the EU page Pro was €330 a year for up to 400 images a month; we could not verify the USD price or monthly billing. Pick it if your studio already pays for Chaos.
Vizcom
Vizcom is built for industrial and product designers: sketches to renders and 3D models. The free Starter plan gives about 200 images and Professional is $49 per user a month for about 5,000, about one cent each. Its pricing page doesn't list inputs or plugins, and it is not aimed at buildings.
ArchiVinci
ArchiVinci sells unlimited renders by time: $39 a week, $79 a month or one-time passes from $49 for three days. That suits a single competition or a short project. It has a SketchUp extension and 3 free renders.
PromeAI
PromeAI is a general image platform with architecture tools (sketch rendering, 3D model designs). Yearly plans run from $192 to $1,242, with unlimited images on "eligible" models only. The Base plan has no commercial rights, so client work needs Standard or higher.
SketchUp AI Render
SketchUp AI Render lives inside SketchUp on desktop, iPad and web. Every paid plan includes AI credits (Go 100, Pro 150, Studio 200 a month) and one render costs 10, so that is 10 to 20 renders a month before the $11.99 add-on (1,500 credits). Credits reset monthly. It is the zero-setup choice if SketchUp is already open.
Same Input, Three Qualities: Our Tool Only
We did not run any competitor's tool; their results would need their accounts and settings to be fair. Instead, here is one SketchUp-style screenshot through Visualizee's three qualities, with the same sentence, at 1K, one run each, no retries.

The words we gave Vizzy:
Turn this model screenshot into a photoreal exterior render on a clear late afternoon. Keep exactly: the camera angle, the house shape and proportions, the flat roof and its overhang, every window and the front door in the same place and size, the cantilevered wood-clad upper floor, the carport on the right and the path. Change only: real materials (white smooth render on the lower floor, vertical larch boards on the upper floor, dark gray window frames, real glass with reflections), a real lawn and low planting along the path, a real sky. Don't add or remove any window, door, column or floor.
| Quality | Model | Seconds | Credits | Price on the Pro plan | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fast | Grok Imagine 2.0 | 36 | 80 | About $0.15 | Slip: the camera drifts, so it won't sit on the model view |
| Pro | GPT Image 2.5 Flare | 25 | 150 | About $0.27 | Pass: every window, the door and the carport kept; adds hedges and trees |
| Ultra | GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst | 79 | 300 | About $0.55 | Pass: the most finished image; adds hedges and trees |
Times are server side, from request to finished image, on October 22, 2026. The Pro render was the fastest here; on other inputs Fast is usually the quicker one. The same six-input test across seven models, with every slip, is the best AI model for architectural rendering.
How to Choose an AI Rendering Tool
Start from where your design lives and how you want to pay, then test two tools on the same image of your own.
- Your design lives in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino or Archicad and you never want to leave it: Veras or mnml.ai (plugins), or SketchUp AI Render if you only use SketchUp.
- You render hundreds of quick options a month: a flat unlimited plan (MyArchitectAI, Gendo Studio, ArchiVinci) or the lowest per-image price (Rendair, Vizcom for products).
- You change one thing at a time for a client and the rest must stay: test a few edits on your own model view and lay each result over the input. That is where tools differ most, and it is what Visualizee is built for.
- You also do interiors, cars or products: check that the tool covers them; most here are architecture-only.
Whatever you pick, compare on the image you would actually show a client, and count the retries: two cheap renders that moved the camera cost more than one that didn't. What studios and freelancers charge per image, for comparison, is in 3D architectural rendering cost, and the engines (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, D5) are in 3D rendering software compared.
What It Can't Do
These limits apply to every tool in the table, ours included.
- No exact dimensions. A render keeps proportions from your view but is a picture, not a drawing.
- Small text comes out garbled or invented. Add signage and lettering afterwards.
- Unusual counts slip. Ask for a door with five glass panels and you often get four. In our window and door test 9 of 13 edits slipped, most on counts.
- "Unlimited" has limits. Unlimited plans often apply to some models or resolutions only (PromeAI says so on its page); read the fine print.
- Prices change. Everything here was read on October 26, 2026. Veras and Gendo showed EUR and GBP only, and some monthly prices could not be verified; those are marked in the table.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best AI rendering tool for architects?
It depends on where you work and how many images you make. Inside Revit, SketchUp, Rhino or Archicad, Veras (Chaos) and mnml.ai have plugins. For a flat monthly price with unlimited renders, MyArchitectAI starts at $29. For the lowest price per image, Rendair Pro works out to about $0.03. Visualizee (our tool) is built for changing one thing at a time on a model view, sketch or photo while the rest stays put, at about $0.27 per Pro render on its Pro plan.
Which AI rendering tool is free?
Gendo has a free plan with unlimited generations on one canvas, Vizcom Starter is free with about 200 images, mnml.ai gives 100 credits on signup that do not expire, MyArchitectAI gives 10 free renders, ArchiVinci 3, and Visualizee (our tool) 5 free renders (4 if you use the one Pro render), with no card. Prices checked October 26, 2026.
How much does AI rendering cost per image?
From about one cent to a few dollars. Vizcom Professional is about $0.01 an image ($49 for about 5,000), Rendair Pro about $0.03, mnml.ai about $0.12 to $0.29 for a Fast render depending on the plan, and Visualizee (our tool) about $0.15 Fast and $0.27 Pro on its Pro plan. MyArchitectAI, Gendo Studio and ArchiVinci sell unlimited renders, so there is no per-image price. SketchUp AI Render uses 10 of the 100 to 200 monthly credits included with a SketchUp plan.
Which AI rendering tools have a SketchUp or Revit plugin?
Veras runs inside Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Archicad, Vectorworks, Forma and Allplan. mnml.ai has free plugins for SketchUp, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper. SketchUp AI Render is built into SketchUp. ArchiVinci has a SketchUp extension, and Rendair has SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Vectorworks, Blender and AutoCAD pages. Visualizee (our tool) needs no plugin: you upload a screenshot from any program.
How fast are AI rendering tools?
None of the other nine vendors publishes a measured time; they say "seconds" or "instantly". We measured our own: in Visualizee (our tool) a Pro render of a SketchUp-style screenshot took 25 seconds, an Ultra render 79 seconds and a Fast render 36 seconds, server side, on October 22, 2026.
Are AI renders accurate enough for construction?
No. Every tool here makes a picture, not a drawing. It keeps proportions from your view but will not hold exact dimensions, and small text and unusual counts (a door with five glass panels, a window with four panes) often come back wrong. Use it for options and client approval; sizes come from your drawings.
