New tile, before the old tile comes off.
Upload a photo of the bathroom and a photo of the tile sample, and get the shower walls retiled in that tile with the glass, the fittings and the floor as photographed. Then the floor from a second sample. Recorded in the app: 2 Pro renders, 300 credits, 2 minutes 56 seconds.

(the bathroom photo and a phone photo of the green tile sample as references) Retile the shower walls in this bathroom with the tile from the sample photo: the glossy deep green handmade rectangular tiles with their uneven edges and colour variation, laid horizontally in a brick pattern with thin white grout, on every wall inside the glass shower enclosure from the floor to the ceiling and around the small window. Keep everything else exactly as it is: the beige wall tiles outside the shower, the glass door and frame, the chrome shower set, the window, the toilet, the sink and the mirror, the beige floor tiles, the light and the camera angle. Photorealistic.
Recorded walkthrough
New shower tile, then the floor
One bathroom photo and two tile samples in a chat, two Pro renders, every prompt shown, the credits and the clock on screen. Watch the recording or read the same steps below.
- 1Upload
Start a chat, add the bathroom, add the tile sample
Two references: a phone photo of the bathroom and a photo of the tile, a sample from the shop or the listing image. Add media once for each file.

- 2Main prompt
Four by three, which walls, how it is laid, what stays
Pick 4:3 for the photo. Point at the sample for the tile, say which walls and how it is laid, and list what must not change: the tiles outside the shower, the glass, the fittings, the toilet, the floor, the camera. Pro quality, 150 credits.

69 seconds later: the green shower
The tile from the sample on every wall inside the shower, around the window, and nowhere else. Click the thumbnail to see it full size.

- 4Main prompt
The floor: add the result, then the floor tile sample
The chat clears the references after a send, so add the green result to the chat, add the floor sample, and say where it goes.

Replace the beige floor tiles in this bathroom with the floor tile from the sample photo: the matte black and white geometric encaustic-look tiles, 20x20 cm, laid square across the whole floor including the shower floor, with thin grey grout. Keep the green shower walls and everything else exactly as it is: the beige wall tiles outside the shower, the glass door, the chrome fittings, the window, the toilet, the sink and the mirror, the light and the camera angle. Photorealistic.

61 seconds later: the floor, and the bill
The pattern from the floor sample, wall to wall and into the shower, the green walls kept. Two images, 300 credits, 2 minutes 56 seconds from the first upload to the second result: about $0.55 on the $35 Pro plan.

Timings are from send to result on Pro quality at 1K, read from the recording. Fast quality costs 80 credits per render instead of 150. Nothing in the recording was retouched. This is the second take: in the first, the second render waited 4 minutes 40 seconds for the image model, so render times do vary with load. 300 credits is about $0.55 on the Pro plan (19,250 credits for $35).

Why the sample photo
Tile is chosen from a sample the size of a hand
Bathrooms are a quarter of the paying base on Visualizee: 66 paying accounts made 1,245 bathroom renders in the 60 days to Oct 7, and tile is the change most of them start with. The choice is made from a sample in a shop or an image on a website, and the question is what that tile does to the whole room: the shower, the grout lines, the floor next to it.
Giving the sample as a photo instead of a description is the difference between "green tile" and that tile: its glaze, its size, its uneven edges. Tile shops use it at the counter, bathroom fitters at the quote, homeowners before they order. Colours on screen are a guide: check the real tile in the bathroom light before ordering.
