Design-preserving renders
Visualizee's rendering is geometry-aware - turn a sketch, 3D model screenshot, or photo into a photorealistic render that keeps your original lines and proportions while you change setting, material, and light.
Design-preserving rendering is the workhorse of Visualizee. You give Vizzy an image - a hand sketch, a marker concept, a SketchUp or Revit screenshot, or a photo of a real space - and describe the change you want, and Visualizee renders your design rather than inventing a new one.
There is nothing to switch on. Whenever your message includes an image and asks to transform it, Vizzy infers that you want a faithful image-to-image render and applies the change you described.
When to lean on it
Reach for this whenever you already have geometry or a real scene and want to keep it while changing materials, lighting, or realism:
- Sketch or CAD screenshot → photorealistic render
- A real room → restyled or restaged
- A daytime photo → twilight or different season
- A flat elevation → a lit, material-accurate facade
If you have no image and want a concept from a description, that's concept exploration instead.
Why "geometry-aware" matters
The point is fidelity. Visualizee respects the lines and proportions of your input, so the output is recognizably your building or room - the window placement, the rooflines, the layout - not a generic look-alike. That's what makes it safe to use in a client meeting: what you show is what you designed.

Inputs that work well
| Input | Tips |
|---|---|
| Hand sketch | Clean, confident lines render better than faint or overlapping ones. |
| SketchUp / Revit / 3D screenshot | A flat, untextured viewport is perfect - Vizzy adds the materials and light. |
| Photo of a real space | Good even lighting helps; avoid heavy motion blur. |
| Elevation / floor-plan-ish | Works, but the more depth cues in the image, the better. |
The clearer your input geometry, the more faithfully Visualizee can interpret it. A crisp screenshot beats a blurry phone photo of your monitor.
A typical session
Upload your image
Drag in the sketch or screenshot. If you have a separate material or style reference, add it too and point Vizzy at it with the @ menu (see Talking to Vizzy).
Describe the change, not the process
"Make this photorealistic - warm evening light, glass glowing from inside, wet concrete driveway, soft landscaping." Name the materials and mood; Vizzy applies the change while keeping your geometry.
Generate, then refine in place
Vizzy renders, then you iterate without losing the geometry: "more dramatic sky", "swap the cladding to charred timber", "same shot at midday". For a change that only affects part of the image, open the render on the Studio canvas, mark the region, and describe the edit - the rest of the frame stays untouched.
Common fixes
- Output drifted from my design → make the input lines clearer, or add "keep the existing geometry and layout" to your prompt.
- Wrong material → name it precisely ("matte black standing-seam metal", not "dark roof").
- Too generic → name your discipline or output type so the right persona loads.
